Here at BMV productions we pride ourselves on being able to produce the best low cost, high quality music video on the market. This is chiefly because the key to cutting cost is a mixture of detailed planning and fast effective execution. For more information please check our ‘About Us’ Page.
How long is a piece of string? Our prices start from £449, but this is completely dependent on what the client wants. Every music video is different and requires different logistics and costs. However, to make things easy we have developed the ‘Instant Quote Calculator’ on our website so you can play around with various options for your video and get an instant price online without even talking to us! Otherwise we have also devised a wide range of price packages on our ‘Prices’ page that you can choose from. We designed it like this to make the process much easier for our clients.
If our prices were any lower, we would not get paid wages! Please remember that we are a full operating production company and we have many more overheads than the standard freelancer. A lot of our clients don’t understand the work process that we go to when producing videos and therefore don’t appreciate that the price is very fair. If you want to see the exact process step by step please visit our ‘About Us’ page.
We have a rule we follow, for basic performance style music videos give us a minimum of 2 weeks warning to plan, anything more complicated at least 4 weeks to plan. This is to ensure we can get all the crew and studio if required. Filming is usually half day or full day, then editing depends on the project and what is required. We put a 4-6 editing time frame on all our videos just in case we are in our busy season. However, we usually get videos edited within 3-4 weeks max. On average the usual turnaround from planning to filming to editing is approximately 6-8 weeks for a music video. We can work faster! But there is an additional charge.
Unknown fact: Our head office is actually in Northern Ireland, and yes that is still part of the UK. We have film crew in Northern Ireland, London, New York and Los Angeles, ready to shoot when called! All our editing happens at our Northern Ireland office, so we cannot do one to one editing sessions with clients.
Our head office is based in Northern Ireland, and our main sales team live there, so unless you live there, we don’t really do meetings, especially for low budget projects. One of our company moto’s is to be super time efficient so we can offer cheap prices, by cutting out meetings we can pass the savings onto our clients. We are experts at this business, there is nothing we can do via email and phone!
Loraa is a skilled and accomplished Director, Producer & Editor, but more importantly she is the force behind Budget Music Videos Productions. As founder and creator, innovator and chief coordinator, she is the proverbial “it” girl because she has done it all, more than most in her near 17-year career. She started her first production company when she was only 18 and by 22 was the proud owner of an additional three shops. She is also a singer song writer and professional dancer (conversant in both classical and street) and has an additional range of skills and experiences that win admiration and envy in equal measure.
Our office hours are Monday – Friday, 9am till 5pm. However, filming can happen at anytime of the week and time, dependent on the project requests.
Yes! If you look carefully through our portfolio of work you will see we travel all over the world for projects. There are charges for travel costs, time to travel and daily fees for time abroad.
That’s no problem! We are hired from clients all over the world to shoot videos on their behalf. Either clients come to us, we go to them, or we shoot a video without the client there using models and actors. The new options we have now developed is the ‘Pre-made Music Videos’. No matter where you are in the world, you lease a music video from us and have you music added and ready to go for use online.
Every client gets a minimum of ‘one set of amendments’ per video. Any further amendments are charged at £50 per set, for each time we have to render the video.
Yes when we begin discussing your video, we will show you a variety of locations you can book including studios and free outdoor locations. Or, you can check our ‘Locations Database’ here on the website. Locations and studios costs depend on so many factors including time spent, size of crew and use. However, we try to only work with affordable cheap locations unless requested by clients.
Yes we can write scripts. We generally write either brief shot lists or scripts depending on the project for each video we shoot, so there is always a plan. We do not write scripts until invoices have been paid, but we are happy to provide ideas and overviews until then.
If you would like work experience, or a job, please just send us over your details, showreel and online links. We generally file everyone into a folder, then get back to them when they are needed.
There can be many variables and logistics in music videos. However, we always stay within the budgets and never charge anything additional after the initial invoice.
I want this particular service done for my video but you don’t offer it, what do I do? E.g. Animation
There is nothing we can’t do, or at least outsource! Just ask! If there is something, we can’t do then we usually know someone who can, so don’t hesitate to ask.
Yes! Our editing prices start at £250 and go up from there depending on size of projects and editing requirements.
